The issue here was more than the short notice - nobody knew when it would be open on that day, that information was not shared at all. And from what I heard from a power user in the German Pimax Discord community it was only open around noon time - on a regular working day. He said it had exactly one (1) visitor.
That does not give me the impression Pimax wanted to have many visitors for that event. Perhaps the team was exhausted and wanted to have some rest instead, I don’t know, But it was not looking to get the devices into the hands of users, that seems quite clear.
