Dream Air Eye Tracking Calibration need to be better

This probably is more a suggestion and hopefully a feature in a future release.

right now calibrating the eye tracking needs some serious help. to get it to work you have to open the pimaxplay app and select the calibration button. this can be done by first going to the desktop, or find the client menu, then find the button. in either case the desktop is open and the calibration window ends up behind the desktop menu. You cannot start the calibration untill you close the desktop menu, or move your head over to the side and press the headset button again. unless you have controllers or a keyboard you are not performing a calibration. it simply does not work well if you have multiple people that use the headset and need to re-calibrate.

First option fix:

  1. if the calibration window is openned please close the desktop or menu automatically so you are just seeing the calibration window and it works right away.
  2. give us options other than the controllers or keyboard to start and finish. meaning allow us to map a hotas button or something to each in the app
  3. Allow us to open and run the calibration from a key binding. a work around for now is to create a bat file that opens the calibration exe. then use a key binding to run the bat like voiceattack. it would be better to allow us to set it up inside the pimaxplay software like you do for passthrough. in either case you are still stuck not being able to calibrate untill the desktop app is closed.

so you have a volumn button +/- and i think middle. You also have a power button. You could map these buttons to work more intelligent like Quest 3 does. therefore you could add quick calibration as a tap variation or combo with the power. I have a suggestion for mapping the buttons to give you multiple functions but i will make a new thread for that.

anyways please make calibration easy and quick to do!
