Decouple mouse from controller pointer on virtual desktop - Pimax Crystal Super

I can’t decouple the mouse cursor from the controller pointer. It is annoying. If the controller is out of the desktop or only the mouse is moving, it should take control.

I’m using VR only in my sim rig, so I need controllers only to control Pimax Play VR UI, on desktop, I prefer a mouse.

there is a workaround with which you can only use the mouse. just activate the mousepath in windows settings and set it to a length of 2.
mousepointer is always visible without pointing with the controllers.

You can enable the mouse pointer trails.

Mouse strials help with always showing the cursor, but when I move the controller outside of the virtual desktop. The mouse is stuck, and I can’t control it.

I’d suggest using controllerless mode, which lets you navigate the Pimax overlay with head tracking and use the volume button as a clicker.

It might not be the most convenient option, but it’s worth giving it a try while we work on improving the logic.
