My wife is Asian… no shoes allowed in the house… but I keep a pair of water-shoes in the house and only in the house that I use with my sim-pit… hopefully, Cybershoes will feel comfortable with these too.

Reading the comments on Cybershoes KS and this comment from the creator that got me a little concerned about my order…
LiPo batteries are designed for a lifetime of 2 years. Cybershoes consume significantly less power than a mobile phone. Even if the battery loses capacity, you’ll be able to play for multiple hours. Shipping regulations impose obstacles for exchangeable batteries. The battery is not replaceable.
I really hope to be able to get more than 2 years from this device!!!

I have a diy solution for cybershoes alternative:
Acquire (steal)
- Two of those oldskool ballmice
- A roll of duct tape
- Two pieces of ps/2 to usb converter
- A friend to code a small app to map the roll movement to +forward, +backward
Bonus features: you can use the mouse buttons with your toes!

Every backer should put a message on their project asking for a modular battery design, so that it can be replaced in the future when it runs out. (gonna suck to have to replace it every 2 years)
Nvm, looks like battery will not be soldered on, the unit is openable so it will be manually replaceable and they said they’re willing to replace batterys on units which have been sent in to them at a cost.
