Hello, would it be possible to get the automatic interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment working, please?
In that case, it would have been wiser to use a manual IPD
adjustment, which would have lowered the product’s cost and likely reduced its weight.
We paid for a headset that includes this feature. If the issue isn’t going to be resolved, shouldn’t we get a refund proportional to the cost of this non-functional feature? Viewed in that light, it feels a bit like a scam
That’s just my opinion; I might not be the only one who feels this way.
Please take in notes that some people want just opposite; only manual adjustment of IPD, or better to say, I need back “checkbox to disable auto-IPD”.
I have OG Crystal, and I do not want auto-ipd, as I have max IPD + additional rubber spacer between lenses.
If ever autoIPD start on my unit, it will break something.
Also, I know many people adjust IPD manually to some other values (auto feels wrong for them too).
Dude you don’t need automatic IPD or even manual IPD, just cross or uncross your eyes outwards until you get the right image. That’s according to the logic of the suspect Pimax defenders defending other lack of features (like a simple power off option).
