Any word on the Sword Sense?

I haven’t heard/seen any news on the Sword Sense (thumbstick) controller variant in quite some time.

What is the status of this? Will the backers who wanted the thumbstick version still be receiving it? The recent update about the Sword progress made it sound as though that would be what backers receive, which is counter to what had been stated in the past.

I’ve been waiting many years to finally receive the controllers that I was promised as a full package backer. I chose not to take a refund based on the information available at that time that said backers would be receiving the Sword Sense version, likely within months. If I recall correctly, that was somewhere close to a year ago, now.

My 5k+ (originally 8k backer) is my first and only VR HMD, and I would very much like to (finally!) be able to make proper use of it.

As far as I am able to remember, there are some more differences between the sword and sword sense. Not only a thumb stick, but also finger tracking.
As this is integrated in this sword controller, a further development, only for the thumb stick seems not realistic.
I placed a preorder long ago. Right hand with touchpad and left with thumb stick, or so. I don’t know what they will send me, or if they will send me anything.

It would be nice to hear if also the preorders will shiped. And yes also your question, if there will be a second version with thumb stick.
