I know 566.36 is the last known good driver and that’s what i’ve been using. But i wanted to play a flat game and get better performance so i loaded 595.79. But now , even after rolling back to 566.36 it no longer sees the DP cable is connected. I’ve done the DDU thing, i’ve even installed a new win10 with just 566 and Pimax Play and it doesn’t work.
595 modified something in the GPU that will not roll-back . I have 2 8kx Dmas units and 1 5k Plus and none of them work now post 595.75
595.79 did a display port firmware update for DP2.1 that changes Display Stream Compression (DSC) handshake logic to v 1.2a

The way the hardware polls for VR Head-Mounted Displays (HMDs) via the DisplayPort interface was fundamentally changed. The new protocol expects a specific response timing and signal signature that older VR headsets often do not provide I think this is EDID related changes.
This things don’t get rolled back going back to 566 so once you go forward to 595+ you’re F’d it seems like.
anyone got fixes for this display port unplugged issue that aren’t just rolling back drivers/UDD things? My problem is deeper than that, we’re off in the deep end here for fixes the low hanging fruit options have all been tried at this point.
