ive recently purchased a used 8K+, the seller send video proof of it working before i bought it…
it wasnt being detected so i assumed that the cable was faulty and bought a brand new unused one. it wont turn on and wont detect inside pimax play
What is the error code? Also, which version of Pimax Play are you currently using? Could you please share your system specifications as well?

my gpu is a NVIDIA Geforce RTX 5060
i have 16 GB of DDR5
and a 1 TB SSD
Is your 8k+ the 12v powered model or the revised usb powered model?
its the 12v one

Error 10500 indicates a USB connection issue.
Have you tried connecting the headset to a different USB port? If not, please give that a try.

yes, ive tried connecting to both usb 2 and usb 3, when attempting usb 2.0 it puts my pc into “usb overcurrent mode” i believe my headset may just be fried beyond repair but its always worth a shot

unfortunately nothing has changed after trying this… device manager doesnt even recognise the headset
Sorry to hear. Unfortunately it might be cable related or as you mentioned potentially the headset. Hopefully Support can work it out.
Do you hear usb connect/disconnect noises? A usb power tester may help to see how much it is trying to draw.
It’s been awhile the all in one cable , does it have 2 usb connections or just 1 usb plus Display Port?
it has 2 usb cables, but ive tried one with just 1 and still the same result
The thinner one have you tried using a usb wall charger in that one with the other plugged into PC? The extra usb thinner is for extra power.
