Yeah, the Buttkicker isn’t just a vibration. It violently shakes (by design) you can use rubber isolators but there only so much they can do.
I used the woojer when driving/using my 6 dof car rig and I loved it.
Though i believe the effects are different than if you buy dedicated hardware and software for car rig simulators like this I have
Using both is better
I have the shake kit. It works but it’s a total rip off. Once I opened it up to trash the cheapo foam wrapping paper cushion I saw what was inside.
- 4 Dayton audio pucks ($25
)
- usb sound card (which isnt really necessary you could use your pc’s on board audio) $20
- 2 cheap amps $30
and it doesn’t even come with a hardware in Low Pass Filter. So you need to use software like EqualizerAPO
Based on your description sounds like we could make 1 of our own for much less money than its retail price
Do you think also the software is not worthed?
What would you suggest to buy that is better?
I would recommend Simhub. Its cheaper and more capable. I love the arduino support.
However Simracingstudio (SRS) software is good and I know it supports YawVR.
I made my own pedal rumblers with the motors from a dual shock 3 and 3d printed adapter for my fanatec pedals
Connected it up to a motor shield for my arduino uno and Simhub ties it all up to the telemetry.
Cool!
What do you think about the YawVr? Have you tried it?
no but I’m a backer of the standard yaw 2.
The pro is supposed to have a buttkicker mount.
but the standard might not, the vest may come in handy.
Although i think the standard has rumble built in (i think🤨 )
I’ve used my new Woojer vest for a few days now. Overall, I think it’s a bit expensive for what it offers.
It provides a nice rumble effect for driving games. It really shines when playing base-heavy music, so it would probably be great for a game like Beat Sabre (which I don’t own).
