Not sure about that, but it is a fact that it is pretty hard to be able to distill the posts out of such a thread which contain meaningful information on the subject, due to the repeated lamentations about the already very well covered facts of delays, confusing communication by Pimax etc…
Everybody should be free to lament and complain time and again, but it would be nice to have that placed in a separate thread so who-ever likes to read that kind of communication can do so, but the others are not taken hostage to have to wade through the many posts to not miss the more informative ones.

How about developers scared to be attacked by fonts that have nothing to do other that wanting customer care from developers ?
In the shoe of the developer , I would be sick of it. I would love to deal with developing and not customer care of children

They can make the “negative thread” for “negative people” , whose job and life float around complaining over lack of customer babysitting grom pimax developers working on developing a product instead of babysitting kids

Just keep in mind though that works both ways on each side of the coin.
@MarcoBalletta maybe overzealous in his support; but in fairness he has valid points from his pov as he said he is backing a few vr projects without concern of timelines. But at the same time he needs to realize Xunshu is their PR & project manager & unfortunately they have been overzealous with their updates of timelines.
Truth as much as it caused a lot of irritation 1 of her best posts was 2 weeks prior to tge kickstarter when she posted that they ran into an issue of 4k native per eye. Now after all the flare ups settled people calmed accepted & the Team decided to to work on a native 4k/eye; the 8k-X. This post wasn’t done after the kickstarter begain but before.
The next imho best was the apology letter detailing Risks; something that maybe should habe had Reposts as time went to update risks. But all im all very well laid out.

Its not negative & neither is it stupid to ask for updates they offered & didn’t deliver.
It’s hard but you need to step out of the tunnel to see more.

Why should they not be negative about something they feel negative about ? Nobody here should be censored ao long as they are not breaking forum conduct / rules. Pimax put this forum here for all views. Even negative ones.
I am not telling you HOW to reply, but it is pretty easy to disagree without being inflammatory. I would have thought a group of people tossing around 100s and 1000s on toys with the average age in the 30s (many of us in the 40s,50s and 60s) would be more respectful to one another.

I do agree though Pimax should come up with more realistic timelines. I’m pretty sure at this point we can forget about Q2 delivery. They’re still waiting on their lenses, then the software has to be fine tuned for the new lenses and I’m sure there are quite a few other aspects of the HMD that are not working optimal at all. If anything, who even knows how well the lenses will work, they might not be good enough to be released at all, which would cause more months of delay.
Then the whole process with the testers, I’m not even sure anymore what the idea is with that but it seems highly inefficient to ship out units that might change a lot after M1. Then after input from the backers, most likely more changes need to be done, then production starts and all this should happen within the next 1.5 months? Seems impossible to me. Yet Pimax is still talking about Q2 delivery. It causes deception after deception. Just be somewhat more realistic in your scenario’s and promises, I think that’s really needed here.

I do not care for updates. The product development is late. Its day it will come. I have patience. I wait and then I review it based on my own testing. The rest is all useless drama .
The answer to all the ppl complains is simple answered by 1 reply:

I have backed other vr projects and I have seen ppl that backed other vr projects that have had huge delays in receiving what they backed.
When I backed = SUPPORTED DEVELOPERS , I had that in mind. I am funding research/developing. I do NOT expect customer support and updates every whateve please me.
Everytime pimax post an update, some sort of bs article appears in those vr news blogs, putting down the pimax 8k , while on the other hand they promote final products headset over the 8k.
What joke is rhat?
They are developing and they have nothing to do with a final product.
Ppl that backed are confused and think they bought a final retail produxt?
No they did not buy that and they will not get that.
I don’t think anybody here was expecting to receive a final retail product when the kickstarter ended. We all know it’s a process. In fact, I think EVERYBODY above already stated that they’d be fine with shipment dates in several months, even end of this year, as long as that means we’ll be getting an awesome product. So that’s not the point of criticism here. The criticism is aimed at Pimax who keep telling us that they’re going to ship the product in a few weeks and at the end of those ‘few weeks’ they repeat that song over and over again. That’s all.

And again . PIMAX RELEASE IS LATE SAME AS LATE HAVE BEEN ALL THE OTHER VR PROJECTS THAT HAVE BEEN GONE THEIUGH KICKSTART/ CROWD FUNDING .
No matter how many times you complain, the end result does not change. You get it when it is ready and maybe u get a rushed copy because you repeatedly complained about being late.

My reasoning is that you guys are burying interesting replies from ppl on the vr subject , by going over and over about pimax release being late.

Why don’t you make a thread with the collection of yours and others 's conplaints instead of adding complaints over complaints everywhere that do not change anything but just disturb the reading of ppl ?
Again, I think the only one who is angry in this thread is you. You’re angry because you don’t like what you read here. Don’t you agree then that it might be just better for you to read the updates only threads? Then everybody is happy or am I missing something?

I say that the only marketers here are the ones that on purpose feed complaints agaist pimax crew/developers , because people backed a developing of a product that does not imply having a marketing team unswerving your complaints
