I was wondering if the beta version is the best version I have read some positive things about it but its still in Beta what would be the best version to install at the moment for the 5K Plus?

Imho either 95 or tge 103r191. Though in theory the next version might be released in the next couple of days.
If you have received & want to try smart smoothing go with 103.

Just be sure to install with headset unplugged as a precaution. (I didn’t without issue) reboot load pitool & connect headset. Let it update firmware.
