I can’t say the full scope. But the idea is not to have leaks during the testing period as you had mentioned yourself during the NDA discussion. So that a tester wouldn’t rush out making something bigger than it is. That could be fixed with a simple soft tweak.
So if you read over your own posts you provided tge answer you seek. 
I’ve never said something like that, you must have misunderstood me. I really don’t see any value in an NDA if you simply lift it after the test period. What’s the advantage for Pimax there? IMHO either you don’t use an NDA at all, or you use an NDA, let reviewers give input, make an M2, M3 etc until the testers are happy and THEN release the NDA. That makes sense. I always understood it would be like this, but of course Pimax might do it like you said. But again, what’s the reason for the NDA there in the first place?

It wasn’t about posting a review it was about posting results of the testing. 2 different things.
I said results & your presuming review. I see where you got confused.
What I said is that I personally wouldn’t mind if the reviewers would share some details on this forum about what they think about M1. I said I thought it would be a bad idea to have them do complete reviews, on youtube or other venues. These reviews would be there forever and people could (and will) mistake the M1 for the final version.
Again, I don’t see the use of a NDA only for the test period. It makes no sense to me at all. The way I see it, an NDA only makes sense if you keep it until the testers agree that the new version (M2, M3 etc) is final and ready to be sold.
Since they said results will be posted after then part that covered no info during tested stands.
Now will all of it be lifted? Who knows save those whom are apart of this on both sides. I am sure pimax is likely to have the controllering interest in the NDA being the originator.

But that’s not true. If you read my posts I’ve been both positive and negative at times. And I still feel that way, I’m thankful at least Pimax is trying to push the boundaries of VR. But at the same time I hate them when they do STUPID things like a demo with just 1 lighthouse when they know it doesn’t (and never will) work perfectly. It makes me angry they’re even exploring that path while they could also invest that time and energy in solving the issue’s.

Exploring a feature csn be a good diversion if your frustrated with the work your doing. A much needed break which can help to relax & think clearer.

As one who programs i am surprised you can’t see this clearly.
At times you csn go in circles around an issue your trying to solve & gain no ground. Taking a break to explore something else can relax one. Even during the diversion a thought that leads to a break through. May present itself.
LOL I am relaxed man, I’m enjoying my Vive Pro. It has some downsides but generally it’s just VR how it’s meant to be if you ask me. I don’t have any high hopes anymore for the Pimax 8k and dont really mind if they don’t release it anytime soon. It’s just that your endless optimism is itching. Probably like you seem to get irritated by my opinions. That’s just how humans work I guess.

Could you do us a favor and try disconnecting one base station. Does the tracking work fine for seated 360 with no controllers? Abt to buy the headset only with one base if possible
