Too much flickering in white colors-60hz

Old school theater projectors were also often CRT based back in the day, so 24p didn’t seem so bad. Its hard to imagine that digital cinema has only been around about 22 years.

I know that I am not. Most likely, the duty cycle is much less than 75%, or the flicker frequency is much lower than 60Hz. Both may be solvable problems.

I hope so. It’s nice to have 60hz for better image and less gpu and cpu. It is true that the panel at 50hz flickers less than in 87 I was using. If they can improve the 60hz mode it would be great.
My lcd monitor is at 60hz and it doesn’t flicker.

Have you ever tried HMD without low persistence, like Oculus DK1 or Pimax 4K? They don’t have flickering but of course have motion blur.

All of these have low persistence and will be flicker.

LOL, of course if you have regular monitor without motion blur reduction options, you don’t get any flicker.
