SweViver First Look: Assetto Corsa Competizione VR on Pimax 8K & 5K+

Niche yes, but VR IN SIM RACING is not niche at all. I’m sure most of us would agree.

Well it is generally a problem - DCS could do more. Almost all games give a a pile of brown matter for VR Works and the like SDKs which make use of the hardware an boost performance-
it’s damn sad and makes me angry :triumph: all those wasted resources - just like the one Core games - pretending the other 5-7 cores doesn’t exist or Usage of DX12 or Vulcan :vulcan_salute:

I wish they have better graphic, their current stage looks like FSX when it first came out back in 2006…just kinda a turn off for me in realism when everything looks like PS2

Has anyone here been able to get ACC looking smooth and crisp? I have tried every combination possible and cant get it looking right and playing correctly without stutters or frame drops even with smart smoothing i saw stutters at 45fps which is weird.

New beta out with additional AA options. Need to sub to the beta within Steam.

I agree, but what if I told you that people who play with $300+ steering wheels and Hotas were a niche.

Most casuals couldnt be bothered setting up a sim rig or paying for more than a dual shock 4 , and yet these companies wouldnt dare release a racing game without wheel support.

To me VR in sim is just as important as using a wheel and pedals.

Ooh, I’m a niche. I just spent more than that, just for chair mounts for my HOTAS. MTSIM – MONSTERTECH – Simulation Design – Official Website or https://monstertechusa.com

i hear you bro. i almost bought those myself then u realized i have a place like not far from me (in Canada) that sells 8020 parts and i could build one myself for like 30% of the cost. I may also just build a whole rig for about $300 CA

but back on topic, yes most of us are part of several niches

The express shipping from Europe added quite a bit to the bill, unfortunately, they only have 1 shipping option.

The good news is I like the HOTAS chair mounts a lot.

The bad news is that it was a pain to install, mostly due to issues related to my chair, not the kit (except that the instruction illustrations were hard to interpret at times).
