Question… Who would moderate all the other different language forums if the mods and forum leaders are tied up in the English speaking forum?
we are all adult normal people, we do not always need someone to take care of us. we can do it all alone.
like in steam, also no moderators.
Steam has moderators. But usually need to be flagged.
Just don’t need to segerate different languages with having means to translate if one chooses.
i disagree… you have been on this forum long enough to see the negativity which can be compounded by others including internet trolls that feed on this negativity and fuel the fire. We have seen personal insults, threats to members and racial slurs as well as hatred to individuals and the Pimax brand in general from other VR fan boys. Saying ‘you’ are adult is fine, but can you say that for every other member in the forums? All forums need some level of moderation. If Pimax wish to create additional forums for other languages that is their choice. but creating a sub forum for other languages when no one can moderate it is a bad decision for Pimax and the VR Community in general - we all want Pimax to succeed, but unmanaged topics that could be posted under the Pimax Official forum is a reputation killer.
As a side note, the Steam forums are not in place for its own product, it is used to discuss software from other companies games and software running on steam platform.
Pimax’s forum is for a consumer product which Pimax are actually trying to sell. Having no mods or community leaders in a forum where the language is not their 1st language could be a nightmare to manage.
