Question about the Pimax Late Summer Event

Hello everybody :slight_smile:

I am thinking about participating in the Pimax Late Summer Video Event.

Just a short question: Does the video(s) have to be done in English?
I am not able to find anything about that in the rules.

Unfortunately, English is not my first language, and although I can write it good enough, it feels a bit different when talking or even more when it comes to making an entertaining youtube video… :wink:
On the other side, since the videos will also be some kind of publicity for Pimax, perhaps it would not be too bad to have videos in German (or French, Italian…) to make the HMD’s better known in the different countries… :thinking:

It doesn’t have to be in english. Other languages would be great!

It would be useful if you added some captions though so the English speakers can follow along a bit.

Would it be allowed to share a first quick&dirty video via YouTube in order to receive some comments about whether it would be worth to upload something similar (not the same, of course) for the event?

I did two first trials, but I am really unsure whether any further work and finishing on them generally would make sense (especially concerning video FPS and overall video quality based on this).

Depending on the replies and comments I then would decide whether to create my real video, completely new from scratch, for the event.

Unfortunately I still cannot find any discussion thread for this event… or am I missing something?
