I don’t have the Quest 2 due to Facebook login requirements. But I do own the Quest 1 and is not a bad piece of Kit. Is a bit front heavy for sure
I could not get any facebook account registered thru my emails…it kept telling me my ID was either to large, too small or too blurry…its been weeks and still no texh support help from the book of faces.
I ended upmaking an account thru my cell phone…had that not worked i would have ebayed it.
Funny thing is i did not want to like the quest due to facebook and the fact that i just spent stupid money on the varjo…but I think its great.
I had the opportunity to try a Quest2 this week (at a multimedia art show). It featured Van Gogh and was quite good. Unfortunately, the VR portion was a bit of a let down (due to limited FOV and fairly coarse pixels). It was wireless, which works well in this sort of setting. My wife liked the VR, but then she’s never tried my 8KX (due to lack of interest).
Anyway, the show was well worth it. We got the VIP tickets, which I highly recommend. It will appear in other cities, in the US and around the world.
