When 16 months ago, Matt Wagner from the Eagle Dynamics team announced that they were working with Pimax in their 8K / 5K project to get a better experience in the VR world - it was one of the best news I’ve read. Undoubtedly, I can admit that it’s only the Eagle Dynamics merit that I am a buyer of Pimax goggles. I bought Pimax 4K goggles first - now the Pimax 5K + goggles to fly in the world of the DCS simulator. Today I asked under one of the new films Wags how does the cooperation with Pimax work? The answer surprised and saddened me … Matt wrote back:
“They dropped off the radar and have not responded to us.”
I wonder how it is possible that single goggles were sent to youtubers for testing, and such an important company as Eagle Dynamics was omitted? It does not fit in my head - because thanks to ED, a very large number of people supported the project, and many others have now ordered goggles. It is possible that half of the clients are virtual pilots - including me. One of the reasons why I ordered the 5K + goggles right away was the awareness of ED’s cooperation with Pimax and the certainty that DCS will work with 5K + goggles without any problems. I thought that cooperation was thriving. I am extremely disappointed with the Pimax policy, I hope that such a big mistake will be repaired quickly.
