$2300k for the 12k is a mistake personally (I understand why the price). Is good price if they are going for the enterprise and prosumer. Pimax just completely closed the door consumer market. Perhaps that is the aim.
The unit looks good tech wise, will be interesting how this price meet their sales forecast

Price reflects competition. This makes the Varjo Aero look overpriced.
Varjo is an enterprise company. not consumer. Pimax is a consumer company. But, maybe the gamble will pay off. The Varjos will be limited sales also

yes, but you will have far less sales that you could have with a more aggressive price. For us enthusiast is not an issue. Your challenge is the new comers

It’s priced slightly higher than the AERO, but has many more features and tech.
Definitely no consumer but I would say Prosumer.
Smart move allowing users to get the price of a 8K headset bought before the release deducted. Otherwise nobody would buy any of their current headsets.
Plus its like getting a current headset of your choice for free, which you can still sell later

Varjo is a niche product, it will never sell in large numbers. It is only an extra revenue stream for them
