Pimax 4k Drivers

Hmmm you might need something to either point tge piplay to d drive.

@Sjef its been awhile what would you suggest? Is it possible to create a shortcut of the steam folder and place it in the c drive program folder as a work around?

I would try makingva short cut to the steam folder & place it in the default c drive location for install.

Actually a few days ago I ran into a similar issue. Unfortunately, reinstalling SteamVr might be the way to go.

I think you need to re-install steamvr indeed.

Does steam have to be installed to the same drive as Pimax?
Looks like i’ve got a long download to reinstall SteamVR then :c

Does it make a difference that i also have an Oculus Rift and have all the relevant Rift software installed?

I’m not sure with oculus software if it interfere’s or not.

I would goto where you have steam installed & create a shortcut & move the shortcut into your c drive program folder. It might work & it might not.

The shortcut might help piplay find steam if its looking for it in c drive.

Okay On say you D drive “Copy” Steam folder. Then goto c:\programs x86\ paste shortcut. Rename shortcut to “Steam” similar to above.

Give that whirl!

Usually Steam is not compulsory to be installed in the same disk as Piplay driver.

Or have a try to right-click SteamVR app (in Steam) -->Property -->Local files -->Verify completeness

Okay i have tried moving the install of SteamVR to the C: drive (using steam), i have also verified the steam VR files, pimax still says that SteamVR isn’t installed :frowning:
Guess it’s time to redownload steamVR
