LOL , haven’t played that from years now…and anyway, I’m not in my prime years anymore
It’s cool that it’s still out there. I’ve made maps for the original Doom, Quake, Quake 2, HalfLife, and HalfLife 2. Most of those maps were only shared with friends and not circulated widely.
Actually even going back to an old game and playing for a while you start to adjust the the graphics as well. I noticed this with Fable. Went back and played it through because I never finished it. When I first fired it up I thought “wow, how graphics have gotten better!” but, while playing, being conscience of this slowly went away and it actually became visually appealing at times… definitely a psychological aspect to it.
I remember when i was 16 playing fallout 3 with a 8600GT in low details no AA 1280x1024 i’m still amazed how my brain remember that like i was in crysis 7 in 8k res very high lol
I think we will get used to vr as well in a couple of years
