I got the same survey and am in touch with Pimax as to why that option was displayed in the first place.
Text readability vs OLED colour quality.
One is a functional requirement, the other is a quality of life feature.
I will stick with 5K+ for the better resolution/less sde , especially now that brightness can be adjusted
also donât want to wait for an undisclosed period again .
Maybe so, but he was actually filming you no? Plus you obviously have a lot of respect for him. Maybe subconsciously you are aware and more diplomatic with words. Either way, it seemed you were genuinely impressed and didnât mention any negatives. All good then.
Ask Robin to let you come back home with the 5KBE they let you try at the CES 
Also what was your initial feeling about sharpness ? Certainly not as crisp as the 5K+, but compared to the 8K for exemple, maybe closer to that one ?
Pimax offered to switch to the 5KBE, it is even mentionned in the survey:

NOTE> Sebastian, after this initial video post about the Pimax 5K+ BE OLED,Sebastian posted another video explaining more in depth regarding the SDE, he played more games with it, initially he said it was on par with the vive Pro, well now he recants and says that the SDE is somewhere between the og vive and vive pro. I was highly doubtful it had same SDE as Vive Pro.
And something elseâŚAnyone remember playing Space Pirate Trainer in the OG Vive, it actually looks pretty damn good for OG Vive tech! So of course the 5K+ BE OLED looks good in Space P T!
