Hello everyone. As to be expected, kickstarter just charged the due amount from my bank account. Unfortunately it seems like it forgot to apply the currency conversion and simply subtracted.
Google says that today the conversion rate is:
That means I’ve paid $95,57 more than it was expected.

Damn, that doesn’t sound right. I thought they were just charging a currency conversion fee, but that’s just straight up wrong. Hopefully you get this solved.

Yikes, yeah that doesn’t look right… how about anyone else? Especially anyone paying in euro? They charged me correctly in GBP for what I pledged.
Well, actually at first my bank declined it T-T but now it seems to have gone through.
I’ve been overcharged as well it seems.
I pledged $1134 total for 8K-X full package ($100 is for hand module, the rest is shipping) to UK which is £867.51, but my bank bill shows: £893.39.
That’s £25.88 too much, or $33.83.
the same here, it had to be 426 € / 496 $ for early bird basic pimax8k and they charged me 444 € / 515.4 $
Check with your card or bank as they might charge an extra fee for conversion.
My pledge was $1616 US my card provider said tgey charge 2.5% for conversion. My total in Canadian was around $2075. Google says it would have been $2062 canadian.
It is also as suggested to contact kickstarter.

I think this is, as @Heliosurge mentioned, an extra fee for conversion.
This is not the first time I have been charged a little higher.
This happens when I pay in foreign currency.
So our banks are rippping us off for billing us a surcharge fee to convert dollars to our own currency, not Kickstarter or Pimax?

Just as a sidenote: i had no problems on my side. The withdrawal from my Bank Account in EUR is exactly as it should be.
i’m in the US and it looks like the correct amount. not surprised though the amounts in KS were in $.
Have to check with your provider but seems that way depending on where you are
I have an international MasterCard card and always when I pay in dollars I don’t pay any conversion fees, but now the amount that I paid is about 30$ higher than I suspected 
Same here. That’s why I’m puzzled as this has never happened to me before buying things in dolllars online, e.g. no conversion fee. Suddenly it appears.
I wonder if it’s a sneaky thing Kickstarter do to people outside the USA? It’s so bizarre.
