I am in search of settings advice for the Crystal Super in Il2 Sturmovik. I recently switched from A Reverb which allowed me to spot at distance and see well up close. The Crystal apparently has such high resolution that I can no longer spot at distance and the glare from sunlight is blinding. While others I am flying with report seeing contacts, I am squinting and see nothing. Is there a source for settings advice to address this?

Beware that half of people are playing single player only, and half MP only. These two groups have different settings.
I have OG Crystal, so I can not help you 1:1, but you should ask in IL-2 forum, with your hardware and type of play (MP/SP).
PS: I am MP only player and use open composite, openxr toolkit, and there slightly reduced fov top and bottom (I have glasses inserts, so I do not see that anyway). It gives me 90Hz on native ppd. And no in game AA at all.
