For reference: pimax 4k vs Vive Pro

Well MRTV’s Max SS test is quite good. I chose the one I wanted too.

Those are really important informations, thanks much.
Has a previous user of 4k, this made me go 8k, thanks for help

Yeah SDE is something I am sensitive, but everyone is.

Actually Iam one of them and Iam getting worried about all this since I cant tell that 4k was SDE Free VR…just like no way.
Fortunately I didnt choose the 5k+ !

There is only one thing that can tell really, that is numbers just like kw23 but where are those coming from?
Is for the 8k FoV per eyes is 120° then with the 4k panel you get 32 pixels horizontally and for the 4k its the same panel but for 110° but what are single eye fov? 75?

Just found this, http://community.openmr.ai/t/i-just-tried-the-pimax-8k-pimax-4k-user-perspective/2896/76 it make thinks mostly clear, its pretty much the same SDE.
Oh well…I know once I will have the large FoV I will enjoy it anyways  but thats is kind of surprising even if absolutly logical after all ^^

I’m still waiting for somebody to finally compare P4k to either 5k or 8k or both!

I thought somebody said the 5K+ SDE is similar to the Oculus Go if that helps?

Loooooool. I received my HTC Vive yesterday and I previously only had Pimax 4K experience. I really laughed out loud at that horrible SDE. The 6dof is awesome though, that really makes VR but I just don’t understand the SDE was ever considered ok.

Played Senua just now and immediately shut it down again. This is insanity, that game character looks at times photorealistic in the Pimax 4K and looks like a total joke in a Vive.

Just wanted to put this out here. I’m going for the 8K regardless of how well the 5K+ operates. I need my low SDE.
