Hi, after i have installed driver for Oculus i cannot return in extend mode but only working in pimax mode (working with VR steam and Oculus with Revive very well now)
I have win10 64 professional , GTX1060 and i try all version of driver Nvidia but the problem is always on.
Now I canno’t see the glasses on my pc, i see only my monitor. I have change USB of glasses and try all (restart pc, change dp , uninstall Piplay or Oculus driver etc. etc.)
I try more time to re-install WIN10 but always after i install driver Oculus i lost extend mode… 
(first is ok extend and pimax mode and i see glasses and monitor on the property of graphic card)
Now i play with Assetto Corse but i cannot see film on 2K
Please you can help me ?
Hi Duffy ：the Pimax mode like Direct mode default is to not see the monitor . After you run the Steam game ，VR will have images.Do not worry it’s normal.
I have made a post about oculus driver. You don’t have extend is the reason that you set up oculus newest driver. The oculus driver killed extend mode early. If you use new oculus drivers, you cannot see the extend mode. In extend mode, you can install Pix to see film on 2K.

Pix and 2k work in Pimax mode or not? I want see movies in Virtual desktop but its not 2k.
Ok, i understand it but i want change to extend mode with this configuration ,it is possible and how ?
If i remove oculus sw , after is possible use extend mode or i need change some register or another trick?

Only in extend mode.
I am not sure. But you can have a try. I don’ t know where you download oculus driver. If you download it from official website, you may not have the extend mode. The only way to solve this problem is changing operate system or video card.

the oculus home install 2 services that prevent piplay to change your pimax to extended mode.
If you kill these process or remove the oculus software piplay will be able again to switch your pimax to extended mode.
Does it work after that?No. As wind said oculus fucked the system.
I can see two monitors in the device manager but i have no display in my pimax and the tracking works.
My extended mode does not work anymore.

Now I think two hard disk with two different configuration for working all possible software

Extended Mode was removed in Oculus runtime 0.8, but it’s still possible to get earlier runtimes by downloading ‘Oculus Switcher’ (just google it). As I haven’t got Pimax I’m not sure how it works with Oculus.
If you want to use LiveViewRift then use runtime 0.6

Well if you’ve installed oculus home and are not anymore able to go back extended you need to uninstall oculus home and all its components. After that you need to uninstall piplay and all its components and lastly you need to uninstall everything piplay installer installed, java, microsoft windows redistribution runtimes… There are about 7 programs you need to uninstall before you can reinstall piplay to get extended mode back.
