Dream Air, Dream Air, Dream Air. Before, it was Micro OLED, Micro OLED, etc. Now, it’s Dream Air everywhere on social media. But what about Micro OLED users? And everyone else? Couldn’t they have just improved the Facial Interface Update for the Super Micro OLED? No, because now it’s all about Dream Air. Soon, it’ll be Dream VR, and nothing but Dream VR, Dream VR everywhere. That’s Pimax’s whole strategy. Thanks Pimax for it.

You refering the LH faceplate? What happened?
Sorry. The Facial Interface Update move eyes closer to the screen to improve FOV. No new firmware for the Micro-OLED displays. New profiles Sboys3 are being released for the Dream Air first. Why not for other models first? It’s all about the Dream Air everywhere. On YouTube, all the settings from Pimax are for the Dream Air.
We’re working with Sboys on those profiles, but he’s been busy over the past few weeks. He’s back this week and will continue working on the project.
The micro-OLED firmware is stable now, and most of the remaining revisions will be done on the client side, which will support this model.
So I’m not quite sure why we have to revise the firmware.

He’s not a Pimax employee, he’s an independent guy who decided to make his own profile for the Dream Air. His first profile was the MeganeX, and I’m guessing they shipped him a DA first because the DA is more of a competitor to the MeganeX than the Super uOLED is. Someone who is considering a MeganeX prob has zero interest in the Super uOLED, since the form factor is significantly bulkier.

I can appreciate your frustrations as the OG Crystal is still waiting on Wufi6e & 60g Airlink to be released after 3 years+ since being released and a variety of other things like fixing up the UW Lenses distortion profile improved. Etc..
However with Sboys3 that is completely 3rdparty and up to the Developer what to prioritize. As they started with Dream Air Profile it makes sense to release the Dream Air profiles first.
That being said I have seen on r/pimax on Reddit some with the Super uOled have reported using the Dream Air profile and reported decent results.

I waited so long for the 60G my original Crystal stopped working 
It had a darn good run though with hundreds of hours in many games

This unfortunately has been a long pattern with pimax announcing headsets and accessories too soon. OG Crystal is pretty much end of life with receiving updates to complete features that should have been near complete a year after release.
Sad that the og crystals are facing things like batteries being worn out or units now failing. It is why with any company but definitely with pimax not to invest until the features you want that were advertised are released and working or risk a wanted feature to potentially never materialize during the time one owns a pimax headset. MR face plate was Originally advertised for ig crystal and now with the connector gate will likely never be compatible and if course those who haven’t bought the Lighthouse FP when it was available for this model are SOL without a diy risky connector swap.

I have an OG and if the policy of this brand is to abandon a product every time a new ones comes out…this will influence my future choices.

Make purchase decisions based on what’s currently available for it, not on promise features that may or may not ever come out.

Sboys is currently working pretty good on mOLED Super. I’m using it as my current daily driver to test all the games I play. Because you can adjust FOV profile as well you can get some nice performance.
Also for some reason on sboys the image is clearer, no more jagged lines.
