Does Boneworks work with Pimax Anyone?

Yes, like I said the Valve index HMD worked when pressing grip then trigger or trigger then grip. None of these work with the Pimax. I can see the target dot, but force grab does nothing, I even tried different height settings, moving closer and father back.
Thanks for the reply though,
Mike

That very odd it just happening to you. What pitool version are you using.

No problem grabbing (trigger button) here. Using 5K+ and Valve Index controllers. The physics are a little wonky though.

My main gripe is I have had 2 BSODs right after solving 2 separate puzzles in the street level. I wish they had save where you want. I hate redoing the same stuff over again.

After playing through most of the game, this is easily my favorite vr game. I really encourage everyone get past the streets level, it gets much better imo. The levels get a real half life 2 feel after that, and once you get a hang of the gun physics (stocks touching your virtual body) shooting is incredible. The sewers level is unreal.

The game is clearly a vr game as cover is put everywhere. Being able to smash your gun into doors to open them, then gun down enemies is just too satisfying. To me the weakest point of the game is the streets level. I do agree on a save function though. It wouldn’t detract from the experience at all.

Nearing end of streets level and glad to hear it gets better. The lack of a save point has been turning me away from the game. Up till now I have found that the game lacked atmosphere, and seemed flat (pardon the pun). I have been judging the game negatively and didn’t think it held up to the hype or price, but looking forward to that “half life 2” vibe moving forward.

Really can’t see how anyone could hate this game. No current VR game comes even close to this.

I did see guys who hate this game. Not small number. They don’t like non-narrative games and puzzle games.

Every single day I jump back into this world.
I love the concept, the graphics, the music, the physics, the sound effects, the enemys, the weapons, everything about it. About 12 hours.
I’ve to say though, this particular game/simulator is much better on the Index, at 144Hz, with the knuckles and free of any distortion.
Although it runs very well on the 5K+ with the Index controllers.

Have to say I’m kinda annoyed to find that my progress on The Streets has been reset and I have to start all over again, was some hours in. While playing the level it was autoloading progress from the last puzzle whenever I died, but I didn’t realise the save point was lost on quitting the game.

The new save feature will be very welcome…

Yeah, the streets is probably the longest level too. I wish you could just manually save…

Oof yeah. It’s more than three hours? The 5k+ is impossible to stay comfortable for that long even if I had that much time. Some days I can’t do more than 30 mins. %*()%(!£"!"$ late MAS delivery grumble grumble…

I guess I just have to leave it running to come back and complete the level.

It’s about an hour long, but thats still super excessive without saves. I’m really glad i put my DAS on, because yeah. Without it the top of my head would KILL within 40 minutes. Now i find the headset to be as comfortable as a vive.

I’m honestly more excited for the MAS over the 8KX right now. Making whatever headset I have truly usable is more important than high res etc…

Where they mark free?
Mine work fine but i noticed that on the left one, the plastic part that’s bellow you’re 4 fingers wickels just a bit. If it’s stays like that’s it’s ok, but if not …
I wonder what the say to marks on the controllers if the hardware has no user caused damage… ( I have plastered and painted walls every slight touches of the wall leaves a mark :frowning: )

Really enjoyed playing around with this earlier at large FOV. Super immersive.

Finally made it to the next level, phew. Took three sessions where I left the game running to take care of RL stuff. I’m sure it gets better / faster from here, but bring on the save patch :+1:

Developers are working on additional checkpoints.
They thought average playtime of whole game will be 4 hours and found that it is much more than that after release.
Streets? They were expecting 30 minutes
