Crystal Light Binocular overlap

I have a question.

Does the ipd adjustment affect the binocular/stereo overlap in Crystal Light?
As fare as I understand, the mechanical ipd adjustment does not, while the ipd offset does.
Is it correct?

Thanks

Yes, the difference is not only reflected in the numbers — you will notice it when wearing the headset and experiencing it.

I think Pimax shall add in Pimax Play a better interface to calibrate the ipd and ipd offset for the Crystal Light.

The current one is not really useful. In my opinion it could take an environment where the user can see close, middle and far distance objects to focus to, some texts and a way to measure the FOV.

It is since I received my headset that I’m keeping experimenting with the ipd and ipd offset and I still haven’t found the perfect setting, even when referring to my optometrist measurement.

This request has been forwarded to the development team and added to the roadmap.
However, it’s currently a low priority, so I can’t guarantee when it will be implemented.

Thanks, but I would reconsider the priority.
I am pretty sure most of the lens replacement for the Crystal Light could have been avoided, because the issue could have been just a wrong ipd setting.

I understand your concern and will try to convince the development team to reconsider the priority.
