I can not believe that today, Pimax does not know if it is compatible with revive.
Have not tried the app?

If the creator of the Vive does not think he can do anything and, considering that the content is exclusive, itâs not clear that all developers will make it compatible, maybe none will do it; at least until Oculus also add screens unparalleled to their HMD, which can be in a couple or more years.
It seems to me that there is no compatibility with Oculus right now.
I imagine again Pimax un the CES event with ninja fruit
Then ⌠they ask what we want to see at the CES if they do not seem to check the most important things like the one youâre talking about here.
please clarify everything well ⌠it has already been said that communication is the most important and I see that we continue as before.
I hope they have tested it, before claiming the HMD is compatible with OH games
We are not really sure as no one has been able to test Revive with it.
It may work, but perhaps with the 110 FOV and not 200.
Or it may look but be a bit distorted.
Or may not work at all.
Or all work flawlessly and Jules could be wrong, he has not tested but he believes there will be issues.
It is important that Pimax says something to its sponsors and confirm, if hmd is compatible with revive.
They should be the most interested in having their community informed.
Here we go again , I imagine this will carry out just like the 90hz debacle. A bunch of backers demanding answers and fixes when they have no right for any such demands.
Hope I didnât start a fight here
If it is possible for Pimax to do something about this, backers do have a right to ask for fixes do they not ?
If they say its compatible with Oculus Home content and turns out its not, you wouldnât be disappointed?
What if perhaps we discovered the Headset wasnât compatible with SteamVR for whatever reason. Would you still not be disappointed?
I donât think you would enjoy your fancy high Resolution and FOV headset with no content to use it with.
The sponsors who come from Oculus Rift or those who bought applications in their store will not be very happy. Especially if they bought them at Christmas, assuming that if they worked with revive they would do it on the Pimax 8K.
I would be surprised if those who come from HTC Vive have not bought any of the best exclusive Oculus games too.
If anything you may have identified an issue before shipping out. So really one should look at this as a high five.
Its no different then downloading a driver update & expecting all your programs to work. On tge surface it would be easy to miss Oculus not supporting it as uptil now any steam compatible headset would work with ReVive; but we are traveling so to speak undiscovered gamescape.
Some kind of work around can likely be introduced even if it unfortunately comes to blacking out tge extra fov somewhat.
Ya I thought this was already known, but I guess I may be one of the few.
I had a long discussion with Jules about this topic on Reddit. I will link if I can find it.
Hopefully there will be a way for Pimax or Jules to workaround this and get us the ultimate experience, but it wouldnât be the end of the world if they could get OH content working in 110 FOV instead of 200 FOV.
Iâd be happy with that. 200 FOV on most things but only 110 on OH games sounds fine to me if I canât get the 200.

Hi Futurists,
We have collected and reviewed all your requests about games for demos, the top 10 games are: Elite Dangerous, Project Cars 2, Assetto Corso, Arizona Sunshine, Fallout 4 VR, Onward, Serious Sam, Lone Echo, DCS, Dirt Rally, Natureâs Treks VR
[/quote]Please visit the post that we have shared the demo game.
Interesting to see how this one plays out.
I seriously hope they donât pick a game that is available on both OH and SteamVR and that they pick an OH Exclusive such as Robo Recall or Lone Echo.
They canât pick Lone Echo if they are using Vive Controllers because there are no capacitive buttons.
I hope they pick a great exclusive Rift game that everyone knows and I hope it works in full resolutions and FOV.
Slightly awkward quote you are citing from that thread as these were requested the most in the forum but the majority will not be demoed on CES for the reasons stated in the thread.
The actual demoâs Pimax will show according to that thread are the following:
DCS, Serious Sam VR, an Oculus game, TheBlu, Fruit Ninja, Videos
I found your conversation with Jules.
I have opened another Topic about whether they are explicitly using Revive and if it works or works poorly.
Yes thatâs the one.
Had no internet service for the past week.
I am ready to play with you guys.
