looks like this company doesn’t mess around, and preparing for a global release.

Amazes me you have this small company bringing true innovation and Vive with all their power release a low res meditation device?

Looking forward to seeing an unbiased review of that.

Still not pulling anything up on Kickstarter under Arpara… They said it would be released on Kickstarter at the end on November, maybe tomorrow!!

or early december so their support said. I’m waiting to see what the AIO device is like, the tethered version is already a released product in china with LH tracker. I’m quite looking forward to this hmd as it’s a real product in the wild, not a video of a product, which means it shouldn’t be too long for global shipping.

Which websites can you purchase the lighthouse model? Are they in stock or up for pre order?

@Davobkk if you meant the LH cover for the tethered version, it says preorder on jd.com website but I’ve seen in the product review a couple of ppl had mentioned it’s released. I’m thinking a limited amount has already been delivered to the buyers like the tethered model.

I am thinking the ordering should be opening soon tho for global, if they aiming for Feb delivery.

The Kickstarter tethered model is supposed to be the same but with updates to the Hertz, different color and is only $399 instead of the on sale price of $599. SO im waiting for the Kickstarter to start.

I guess one of the hardest obstacles will be translating the software for the westen market. That might be why it’s already on sale in China

Could easily ask for voluntary help from asian living overseas, easily have interface in English that makes sense and not ‘grammatically correct’ wrong English.

Release date announcement next week, mass production December/ Early January, shipping February

Yes lol

Very tired of wearing glasses, big and bulky headset, really looking forward to something lighter and oled screen. Must be someone else out there feels the same way like me, so I thought I share what I found :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

And they actually answer questions there, so it’s worthwhile to monitor.

Me too. My dream is to slip on a headset this size and cruize round in Elite taking in the deep blacks of space. Bonus points if movie viewing can beat a projector

Looks like the kickstarter is starting Dec 14th 9 AM.

I’m torn, should I go for the Tethered or All In One. Both will be available.

Tethered would obviously have the advantage of light house and index controllers.

All in One would have the advantage of “potential” wireless (Quest 2 has spoiled me) and Oculus style controllers

that’s the problem the word (“potential”) we haven’t seen anybody including MRTV showcase the Steam VR version or the all in one yet right?

Just wondering though is it really worth backing the kick starter? By the time it ships there will likely be other options announced like the Cambria or even Index 2

Sure but will those have 3400 PPI micro oleds, with inky blacks for $600?

I’m looking at this as a side piece, rather an an epic investment. I already know I’ll be getting a 12K , Index2 is pure hopes and dreams at this point. Apara has had units on heads already.
