I have a factory-overclocked RTX 2080, so it’s probably very close to a super. The performance is acceptable with my 8KX. It really depends on the game. Half-Life: Alyx is great; Elite Dangerous is tolerable. I mostly play ED on Small FOV these days.
I really want to upgrade to a 20GB 3080 Ti, but I’m not sure when one will be available. I’d already have bought a 3090, but my wife would be extremely upset if I spent over $2000 for a video card. At this point, I may wait for the 4080, which is rumored to be coming at the end of the year and is supposed to be much faster than the 3080.
