The only way I can get the SteamVR controller to work in the SteamVR dashboard is to use a Vive wand first to show it and then I can use the Steam Controller to navigate.

I haven’t found a way to activate the dashboard using the Steam Controller even though it say to push “Y” on the controller in the SteamVR Home… :nerd_face:

Seems my Pimax is pretty useless till I get lighthouses and controllers then :stuck_out_tongue:
Doesn’t seem like there’s much I can do.

You can just start the game from the Steam game list… :wink:

I know it’s not convenient, but You can start a game from there and then use a Steam Controller in the game.

I could almost use bigscreen. But can’t select anything properly. It accepts mouse control in some places but not others.
Pretty annoying so far :stuck_out_tongue:

I will have to reattach it. Been ising an xb1 afterglow wired controller.

Did you change Desktop Config do it sees it as a controller?

There’s no select button on a Steam Controller but I guess it’s either the button to the left or right of the Steam logo button (which is where the PS button would be on a PS3/PS4 controller)… :thinking:

I’ll try holding various buttons tonight… :nerd_face:

Don’t think will get a chance today but will test Steamcontroller. It is possible Valve screwed things up again.

I just remember at one point had to look it up & due to Steam not being in Big TV mode had to change Desktop mode to change controller to a joystick gamepad profile.

Pretty sure I already tried downloading a gamepad profile but it didn’t seem to help.
I did read in some threads that I think they broke it at some point and don’t really care enough to fix it :confused:
