Anyone know if it is possible to force steam to generate 60hz instead of 90hz. If you look at video content recorded in 60 hz I think for best possible experince it also should be viewed in 60hz.
There are already lots of topics on that thought, and yes 64hz is almost useless since there is far more 60hz footage out there. BUT, I’ve given up hope that it will work as intended even if they add 60Hz. While 72 Hz works impressivly well, 64hz is torture because the flickering of the screen gets insane. I see very very slight flicker on my OD+ at 60Hz but it’s bearable and worth the extra headroom for more SS. But I don’t know if pimaxes pannels work as good for underclocking in the future. The flickering is just too much, I fear it’s a limitation of the panel.

I am little confused about how this works.
What is it that controls the framerate to the headset ?
Steam, headset drivers or what.

Indeed as 72 is at least a multiple of 24 cinema.
@Doman.Chen @anon74848233 @anon57422158 can you submit to the team to support 60hz for video? 64hz might be good for some games but 60 is needed to improve video.

Headset in WMR headsets you have refresh of 60 & 90.
